The WithU Motorsport rider returns to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli to contest two MotoE World Cup races this weekend.
Jakub Kornfeil and WithU Motorsport are ready for a very demanding week, both physically and mentally, when they return to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the latest round of the MotoE World Cup. This weekend they will take on two races: One on Saturday and another on Sunday.
Last time out, Kornfeil finished 16th on raceday, having made steady progress over the course of the weekend. Now WithU MotorSport hopes to continue gaining experience and improving his feeling onboard his electric motorcycle. With half the season completed already, the Czech rider feels prepared for what will be the penultimate round of the year, and wants to get into the fight for points.
Round 4 of the MotoE World Cup will begin on Friday with two Free Practice sessions, followed by E-Pole on Saturday morning. Race 1 will be held the same day at 4:15pm, while Race 2 will take place on Sunday at 10:05am. Both races will be run over 7 laps.
#84 Jakub Kornfeil
“This weekend we are going to work hard from the first session onwards, as that will allow me to tackle E-Pole from a better position. This week we only have two Free Practice sessions, so it is even more important for us to be quick from the start. I will try to lower my times compared to last week, which is our goal. Having two races in a row is good for me, since that’s when I enjoy myself the most and when I learn the most from watching the other riders. I’m very happy and looking forward to the start of Round 4 of the season.”
