Productive learning for Kornfeil on opening day of San Marino GP

#84 Jakub Kornfeil
“During these 7 weeks of inactivity I have been training with big bikes, and when I got on the MotoE this morning it felt totally different. However, after two or three laps I remembered everything again, and on the final laps of FP1 I was already much faster and enjoyed myself a lot. In FP2 I improved my time by 1.3secs, so I am satisfied. Today we were a bit more conservative with our tyres. I’m very happy because I was able to push hard from the beginning. I saw that I am fast and that, even without running new tyres, I can be competitive. Tomorrow both the bike and I will be stronger. I want to thank the team, because I am enjoying riding a lot; although there is still a lot to improve, I feel positive.”
